Juicy, juicy, cherry fruity. A cracking Garnacha from Spain. Gold medal also. Noticeable value cues.
This wine is one of those hidden jewels to be found in Spain. Old vine Garnacha sourced from dry-farmed vineyards grown at an elevation of 900 metres in the cool mountains of DO Calatayud in Aragón. Briefly aged in concrete tanks, this is a juicy, scented mountain Garnacha with lots of violet and crunchy red fruit notes.
Baltasar Gracián is the main range of the winery. High altitude vineyards, different orientations and exceptional slate and gravel soils, which, together with the antiquity of its traditional, bush vines, produce grapes harvests of exceptional quality.
From old and dry-farmed Garnacha vines, with low production and located in different places of the Sierra Vicort at 900 meters of altitude.
