"Medium crimson. Fresh roasted coffee, chinotto, raspberry blackcurrant aromas with herb garden, aniseed notes and flickers of violet. Sinuous and velvety with ample blackcurrant, raspberry cola flavours, supple chocolaty fine tannins and underlying roasted chestnut, vanilla oak notes. Finishes chalky/ al dente firm with a savoury tannin plume. Gentle yet animated with lovely fruit complexity beautiful balance and mineral length. Not immediately impressive but the wine reveals itself as it sits in the glass. When less is more." Andrew Caillard, MW. 95/100

"This Merlot based blend grown in the arid, stoney soils of the famed Gimblett Gravels has long been a speciality of ours. With perfectly ripened fruit and custom made concrete fermenters we have produced a smooth and full bodied signature style, bursting with flavours of blackcurrant, plum and cedar. A beautifully pure, complex wine that can be enjoyed now or will age gracefully for several years." Winery
