The ever increasing sibling of Burn Cottage, Moonlight has a new home and vineyard.

"The First Burn Cottage Moonlight Race Pinot Noir under screwcap delivers you rich black Doris plum / dark berry fruit flavours and succulent tannins from the Sauvage Vineyard that are beautifully tempered by the floral, crunchy red fruit and savoury edge of the Burn Cottage".

From vintage 2018 onwards Moonlight Race becomes solely about our two unique estate vineyards: Burn Cottage Vineyard in Lowburn , and Sauvage Vineyard in Bannockburn. The combination of these two sites produces a vibrant expression of classic Central Otago Pinot Noir. Bright florals, red cherry and plum tones are followed with savoury black tea, spice and earth notes. There is a lovely vibrant core to this wine, completed by silky texture and elegant structure persisting in the palate. Cellaring potential to 7 years. Winery
