This wine has become a very 'in' thing. Not surprising as it can just satisfy so many tastes.
Jean-Marc Burgaud, wizard winemaker in Morgon, introduced us to his cousin Alexandre’s superb Beaujolais Villages. The wine comes from old vines in the village of Lantignié which is regarded as being the best location for Beaujolais Villages. The wine is made in classical Beaujolais style with the stems retained.
A delightful Gamay from Beaujolais rising star, Alexandre Burgaud. The grapes are harvested early to capture freshness. Fresh and fruity with real depth enhanced by the granite soil. Enjoy slightly chilled to preserve its delicate freshness and red berry aromas.
We love Beaujolais and this bottling is a perfect intro.
Bright and pure with some red fruits notes and a slight mineral back bone. Great on its own as an apéritif or enjoy with some light dishes.
