Wine Spectator 'Best Buy' recommended.
"Fresh and inviting, with more fruit and depth than many of it's peers. Offers a plum and cherry puree profile, laced with floral and red tea accents on the finish.
Drink now through 2022." 90/100 James Molesworth.
The cuvée “Saint-Esprit” comes from a small valley which nestles in the northern part of the Ardèche. The vineyards are planted on granite, south-facing slopes near the villages of Saint-Julien and-Saint-Alban. Syrah (majority) and Grenache (approximately 10%).
Unusual for a Syrah majority Cotes Du Rhone, but it makes sense when you try it. A classy, classy buy here for the dollars.
