A wine with value written all over it.

Bodegas Borsao was established as a winemakers co-operative in 1959, but only grew to it's current enormous scale in 2001, when it and two other co-operatives merged. Now, Borsao makes wine from grapes sourced from over 375 growers and their 2400 hectares of vines in Campo de Borja DOP in Aragon.

The majority of these vineyards are situated in the foothills of the Monyaco mountain, between 350 and 800m above sea level. In this hot and arid area, the vines are cooled by the southerly Cierzo winds, allowing the grapes to ripen more slowly, acheiving a greater concentration of flavour.

This Garnacha is vinified to emphasise it's punchy fruity flavours. Following a 15 day maceration period, the juice is fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature  of 22-25°C.

Bright plum and berry fruit aromas. The palate is rich and welcoming with ripe cassis and bramble characters and soft, approachable tannins on the finish. ouquet of ripe fruit on a basis of floral notes.
