A 5 star Rose for a 2 star price.
Founded in 1808, the Rhone icon Maison M. Chapoutier has undergone a recent rejuvenation that is nothing short of astonishing. They are the only vintner to hold land in all the major Rhone appellations from the far north to Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the South.
Balance is the golden rule with the Chapoutier Pays d'Oc Rosé. The musts undergo very little racking, in order to develop the wine's volume, yet maintain its freshness.
100% pressed rosé, its floral on the nose and clean on entry. Ideal for an aperitif, or accompanying a number of summer style dishes. Winery
"It's elegant and instantly appealing, showing raspberry, nectarine and white floral aromas, followed by a fabulously juicy palate offering bright fruit intensity backed by vibrant acidity, making it delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2022.' 5 stars, 93/100, Sam Kim
